We were able to impress our customer Klöckner Stahlhandel with our modification concept and implement these measures. The task involved equipping an existing crane with weighing technology, new remote control and magnetic lifting equipment and positioning it at a new location. Handling of yokes and magnetic transport of individual pipes and pipe bundles is the demand made on the Scheffer lifting technology. In the course of the reorganisation of the warehousing at Klöckner Stahl- und Metallhandel GmbH, it was decided to invest in the crane and magnetic lifting equipment for the Klöckner branch in Regensburg. We delivered a loadstabilised crane with its own magnetic lifting equipment for handling heavy plates of varying dimensions and thicknesses. The Scheffer magnetic system provides the required level of functionality and guarantees the customers safe transport of heavy plates, while at the same time complying with all normative and statutory provisions in the crane and magnetic lifting equipment sector.
